But there is more to rPET plastic than meets the eye. It can be recycled into other things; some of which may surprise you. It is used as a fabric for T-Shirts and as Polyester Carpet Fibers. You can also find rPET plastic in Athletic Shoes and Long Underwear; as well as in Winter Coats, Sleeping Bags, and Sweaters as Fiber Filling. It can be recycled into plastic used for Upholstery and Luggage, and it makes an appearance in items such as Automotive Parts, Plastic Sheets and Films, and in Industrial Strapping.
